R. Bruce Hall, M.D.
R. Bruce Hall, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement and sports medicine. A native of Southeast Alabama, he now lives in Dothan, AL.
Dr. Hall’s interest in sports medicine began in high school and continued through his college years at Auburn University, Auburn, AL, where he was an athletic trainer for all of the athletic teams. He pursued this interest, receiving a medical degree and later completing his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL.
A former president of Southern Bone & Joint Specialists, Dr. Hall is a frequent lecturer on shoulder and knee injuries and is a consultant to athletes, coaches, and allied health professionals throughout the Wiregrass area. He is affiliated with several professional organizations and societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Southern Medical Association.
